Hello campers,

Homework, week 2 is a look at my this weeks work.  Let me know what you think or how I could make this better.

Thanks for helping me provide better Library services for my students and staff,

Assignment: Plug In Resources

The Edge Chronicles My students enjoy meeting authors by watching their videos... so fun and the books don't stay on the shelf for months afterwards.

Summer Reading OK, so I created this Tal.ki for a try at using this plug in... let's see if I can get this to work!  So far I'm not getting this to look like the example, I definitely need more help getting this up and running. I like the formatting for our camp forums and would definitely use this with my students as a book discussion/author forum but I'm just not getting it work.... I'll keep at it. Ready, ready to chat.... please click the link and log in and talk to me!

I like Linda's idea of using this plug in for tutorials (library catalog searching).  It would be great to use this for how to place a hold.

 Much fun!

This is my Title 1 practice Glog... the Library one is in the works.

Wordle: Green Mt Readers

Green MT Library wordle ;^)

Very interesting, I like the idea of creating a page for book reviews either by your own students or from various voice threads available... this is just my first attempt for my library wiki.

Knife of Never Letting Go Take 2 (just click on the title to view)

Book trailer for The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness. Created by Teen Librarian Robin Brenner. Brookline Public Library.

Not enough time to create my own, but I am impressed with the design... so much better than a slideshow!

Surveys & Polls

I'm familiar with Survey Monkey... but I liked this formatting better.  What a great tool for getting library feedback.  I can't wait to create one for my students/staff/parents for 2010-2011.

I was really excited about this easy to add plug in, but no one is on line when I am... so how does this work for a Library site?

Footnotes & Equations

I have used the footnotes before but not the equations.  When I have more time, I'll check out the equations for our math teachers.  I'm planning a wiki workshop in December for the staff.

Powerpoint Presentation

Summer Reading Movie: Originally the only to show this was by uploading on each computer, then came the student share folder, and now hopefully Teacher Tube will get us past the downloading into the embedding.... gotta love tech advancements.

Added my name to the Librarian page..will this connect me with my twitter?

This was great.. to get this document... this humongous file... in a new format!

ToonDoo  What to Read?
  Very fun!
