Seasonal Reading
Welcome Parents,
As parents we are always on the look out for great reads for our children, we search library shelves...we enter book stores...we browse through the Scholastic book papers....we listen to what other parents are or are not letting their children read....we even relocate titles from our childhood.
As a life-long reader, what is on your reading table right now?
Take a moment to browse, discover, and choose a new read just for yourself....
Enjoy, MrsK

Welcome Readers,
A new season for renewed energy, blooming possibilities, and delightful discoveries. Springtime is a great opportunity to begin reading about your gardens, locating new recipes, as well as "digging" into those great internet links that will provide to resources for your passions. Summer is a perfect time to discover "lazy day" reads, especially when the heat is on and only a cool shady place can provide relief... try browsing in a magazine, surfing some of the summer links, reading & daydreaming with a good book! Enjoy any opportunity to explore a brief summer exploration beyond your fun-filled activities.

Check back often. . . . I will continue to post interesting titles, Internet links to explore, and inspiring on-line articles.

“It is not enough to simply teach children to read; we have to give them something worth reading. Something that will stretch their imaginations-something that will help them make sense of their own lives and encourage them to reach out toward people whose lives are quite different from their own.”
~ Katherine Paterson ~
